What/Where is the Warm Sands Neighborhood?
As the photos show, the Warm Sands neighborhood is a classic Palm Springs mix of historic homes from the 1930’s and earlier, a 250 space mobile home park created in 1938, two contemporary condominium complexes, and many single-family homes, duplexes, and larger rental complexes. Included in the neighborhood also are many resorts, a large number of small local businesses, and branches of large chains.
Physically, Warm Sands covers the area enclosed by Sunrise Way on the east, Indian Canyon Dr. on the west, Ramon Rd. on the North, and Sunny Dunes Rd. on the south. You can see where we are and our relationship to the rest of the city on the city map.
Why join Warm Sands Neighborhood Organization (WSNO)?
WSNO, along with Organized Neighborhoods of Palm Springs (ONE-PS), watches out for your local and city-wide concerns -- but it can’t do that without your input and involvement. If you rent, own a home, or operate a business in the Warm Sands area, consider joining WSNO to make sure your interests are heard – use this website’s Neighborhood Organization Contact Form to reach us.
