Festival of Lights Parade Balloons

2018 Festival of Lights

The annual Palm Springs Festival of Lights Parade features lighted floats, equestrians, bands, autos, and celebrities, and Santa Claus.  More than 100,000 residents and visitors are expected to pack downtown to watch what the city calls its signature holiday event. The parade usually takes place the first Saturday of December.

One of the highlights of the parade includes the very popular Macy’s-style holiday balloons which are wrangled by many of our ONE-PS Neighborhoods. Around 100 of our members are volunteers who participate annually in the parade.
